Pregnancy & Parenting: Tips, advice and information for Indian parents

If you're trying to become pregnant, currently pregnant, or if you already are a parent, then you have come to the right place. We want to hear what you have to say just as much as you may want to hear what we and other users have to say.

Some of our users may be familiar with this site -- we have been around for many years. However in 2010 we rebranded and launched our parenting site as ParentsSquare.com. There were many reasons for this overhaul, but the most significant one was the desire to be more interactive -- to give you an opportunity to express yourself and find out what others like you are going through and what they are thinking.

While much of our content gets reviewed by doctors and experts, we think that the real value comes for the personal experiences of our users. If you have a view and a desire to express yourself please feel free to write in... soon we will have more automated interactive tools, but till then feel free to email us. If you are an old user of our parenting website you are also welcome to tell us know what you think of the new site.  

While the website may have gone through a transformation our philosophy has not changed. ParentsSquare is an offshoot of a kids website Pitara.com and therefore our core values are the same. We believe being a parent can be tough and exhilarating at the same time. It can make you laugh and it can make you cry -- sometimes out of joy and other times out of exasperation.

We believe that there is no such thing as 'perfect parenting', nobody has all the answers. Not the experts, not the doctors, and not you mother. Experts say that the best way to learn is to make mistakes, but since we tend to have only one or two children these days, there isn't much opportunity for that. It may be a good idea to learn from mistakes that other people have already made... as well as learn from their successes. We hope that this will be one such place where we can share our successes and our failures.
